Terms of Use
By using this site you agree to what follows. It is short, and most of it is about being clear on what this information is and is not.
What this site is
Growin' Up Organic is an information resource about how schools and districts pay for container farms. It is published by iGrow GroupE, LLC, which brokers pre-owned container farms through iGrow Pre-Owned.
This is not advice. Nothing here is legal, financial, accounting, procurement, or grant-writing advice, and reading it creates no professional relationship. Funding programs, procurement thresholds, and eligibility rules change, and they vary by state, by district, and by awarding agency. Confirm everything against your own business office, your district's purchasing policy, and the agency awarding the funds before you rely on it.
Cost figures are estimates, not offers
The cost ranges on this site are illustrative and are meant to help you build a realistic budget request. They are not a quotation, not an offer to sell, and not a price guarantee. Actual cost depends on the unit, its condition, your site, your utilities, freight distance, and local labor. Only a written, dated quote issued by iGrow Pre-Owned is an offer, and it is governed by the terms stated on that quote.
The funding path worksheet
The worksheet applies a simple set of rules to five answers. It suggests where to look first. It is not a determination of eligibility, not an application, and not a prediction that you will receive funding. Only the awarding agency or your own district can tell you what you qualify for.
Our commercial interest
We sell the equipment described here. We have tried to keep the guidance accurate whether or not you buy from us, and we say plainly on the site that federal rules require districts spending federal funds to obtain quotes from an adequate number of qualified sources. Please do that. If our numbers help you evaluate someone else's quote, the site has done its job.
Outside links and third-party information
We link to and summarize material from federal and state agencies and other outside sources. We do not control those sources, they may change without notice, and a link is not an endorsement. Where a figure matters to your budget or your procurement file, cite the agency directly rather than citing us.
Content and images
The text, layout, and tools on this site belong to iGrow GroupE, LLC. You are welcome to read, print, and share pages internally within your school or district, including with your board and your business office. Do not republish the content commercially or present it as your own. Photographs may be licensed from or credited to third parties and are not covered by that permission. No warranty and limits
The site is provided as is. We do not warrant that it is complete, current, or error free, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from decisions made in reliance on it. This does not limit any obligation we take on in a signed quote or purchase agreement.
Changes and governing law
